My client has a hard suspension, they still have access to appeal but that’s about it… the business is real, they took over a old restaurant but changed the name and have a new business license. but they uploaded one of the old photos from the old listing (outdoor view) and I think that triggered it getting suspended. I don’t want to appeal the wrong way and get it permanently suspended!

Yes it says Policy Violation and link is:

From the cases I’ve seen, providing a business license and utility bill AND fixing whatever details on your profile that are inaccurate or violate guidelines are pretty much the 3 main requirements:

Google just suspended my business profile because they say it doesn't exist (10 year old profile with many reviews 4.9 star rating)

Yes. From the linked Support Answers above it says:

Depending on the context of your appeal, the following are examples of evidence that can help strengthen your appeal:

– Official business registration
– A business licence
– Tax certificates
– Utility bills for the business such as:
— Electricity
— Phone
— Cable
— Internet

Tip: For any documents that you submit as evidence, check that the business name and address match the profile that you want to make an appeal for.
