I’m Jesse, the founder at LittleBizzy. I’ve spent more than a decade contributing to open source projects like WordPress, and LittleBizzy has released over 50+ free plugins to the community. I believe some things are more important than money — like free speech, and free time.

Although in my younger years I experimented with less respectable forms of income online, including affiliate link programs, and a few projects that made easy money for me, I soon realized how uncomfortable I felt contributing to the vast world of shady business that internet marketing (deservedly) gets a bad reputation from.

I decided to prioritize B2B consulting, organizing data in useful ways, and contributing to the open web instead. For the past decade this is what I’ve been working towards, and I feel infinitely better about adding value to the web.

LittleBizzy has evolved greatly over the past several years, too. What started out as one of the fastest and most secure WordPress hosting services ever eventually gave birth to SlickStack, the open source DevOps script I now maintain so that small businesses can copy the exact same “revolutionary” server stack that we pioneered here at LittleBizzy.

It’s certainly not easy to do things the “honest” way. When our competitors spend thousands of dollars on fake reviews, affiliate programs, and other junk that “buys” them some market share, I’ve made the conscious choice to do things the slow and steady way, while spending what other time I have on other projects that make the world a more transparent place.
