Why aren’t [video] ’embeds’ working on my website?

ANSWER: As part of our Must Use Plugins, we install the Disable Embeds plugin. This is because the oEmbed feature of WordPress that was added a few years ago has several drawbacks. For example it allows other websites to embed — and therefore load your site’s database queries — until their own blog pages. While the auto-embed of YouTube videos and such is a potential plus, our team is focused entirely on improving speed, stability, and security. Therefore, we strongly believe that allowing the quick embed system is a betrayal of those values and ultimately, that its worth the few extra seconds it takes to properly embed media into a post.

These quick embed codes will NOT work on LittleBizzy servers:

[embed]https://youtube.com/watch?v=wTpSC_a1nPo?rel=0[/embed]

Using the ‘proper’ embed code is the best way (and improves performance). Here is a YouTube example:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wTpSC_a1nPo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
