Guestthis was driving me crazy for a recent client, 2 very old profiles with “driving directions” to locations that didn’t exist. I tried contacting MapQuest on their contact page which it says can be used for fixing information (spoiler: nope!) and they simply replied to me with the following message instead:
Re: Incorrect Business Information
Thank you for contacting MapQuest,
We are no longer adding or updating business information on our site. We receive data from our partners such as:
Yext, http://www.Yext.comYelp, http://www.yelp.com
data axle, https://local-listings.data-axle.com/
Here, Try adding or editing it through our partner Here.com since they also provide our mapping data.
https://mapcreator.here.com/?site=here_com_contact&l=XX.XXXX,-XXX.XXXX,XX,normal
foursquare, https://foursquare.com
Tomtom, tomtom.com
We suggest you contact them directly to see if they have a listing for you and if it needs updating, or you can have them add one. Since they share their data with us, we will get updates from them. However, if you choose for the listing to be removed altogether, I can do that. Just let me know.
I hope you have a great day.
Christina

GuestWait, did she just list 6 different data providers?
Which one are you supposed to contact then to fix the outdated profile?

GuestFoursquare is dead. Tomtom, I strongly doubt they are using Tomtom for map data at least not in the past 5+ years anyways. All roads lead back to Yelp and Yext pretty much, hopefully MapQuest just disappears from the SERPs soon ffs
